SNM Group was founded by the late Shri Udhodas Mundhra, a visionary entrepreneur and devout follower of Lord Krishna and Shri Nursing Bhagwan. He laid the cornerstone of this organization with unwavering dedication to the principles of the Bhagavad Gita, which profoundly shaped both his personal ethos and professional endeavours.
His son, the late Shri Shyam Das Mundhra, carried this legacy forward and elevated the Group to new heights. His entrepreneurial journey began in 1960 at Lohar Chowk, Mumbai, the heart of India’s electrical market. Guided by a strong work ethic, deep integrity, and a clear vision for growth, he transformed SNM Group into a trusted name in the Indian electrical industry. Over the decades, the Group expanded its nationwide footprint across manufacturing, trading, and marketing of a comprehensive range of electrical solutions.
Under his visionary leadership, SNM Group emerged as a pioneer in the digital transformation of business operations, becoming one of the early adopters of SAP and Salesforce systems across critical functional areas such as customer relationship management (CRM), inventory management, finance, sales, and service. This strategic integration of enterprise technologies underscored his commitment to innovation, operational efficiency, and long-term business sustainability. Today, his legacy is upheld by his son, Shri Anand Das Mundhra, whose leadership continues to reflect the Group’s core values of excellence, trust, and innovation. With a strategic focus on emerging technologies and sustainable practices, Shri Anand Das Mundhra is steering SNM Group toward a future centered on renewable energy and customer-centric solutions.
